Lukas Herbert is a senior associate at K&L Gates and member of the Insolvency practice group.
Lukas has experience in advising stakeholders in corporate crisis scenarios, typically close to or in the material insolvency phase.
His work, therefore, regularly includes advising of Managing Directors and Chief Executives Officers on the continuation of the day-today business, preparing of insolvency filings, as well as preparation and execution of debtor-in-possession proceedings, and preparation of insolvency plans.
Lukas joined K&L Gates in May 2022. After his Master of Business Administration studies in 2019, he worked for a young law firm in Frankfurt with focus on insolvency law, restructuring, and corporate rescue, prior to joining K&L Gates.
After completing his legal clerkship, he worked for several years at one of the leading German insolvency administration firms as insolvency practitioner.
