Maegan O’Rourke is an associate at the firm’s Boston office, where she is a member of the investment management practice group, hedge funds, and alternative investments practice group. She focuses her practice on advising investment advisers, open and closed-end investment companies, and private investment funds. She counsels clients on various regulatory and compliance matters, including the formation, structuring, and ongoing operations of registered and unregistered funds, private placement offerings, and performance advertising reviews. Maegan also represents institutional investors in connection with their investments in private investment funds.
Prior to joining the firm, Maegan was a legal intern in the Office of Senate Counsel at the Massachusetts State House. Prior to law school, Maegan worked at an investment manager in Boston. Maegan was a summer associate in the firm’s Boston office in 2017.
