Maricarmen Perez-Vargas is an employment associate in the firm’s Seattle office where she represents employers in litigation and counseling matters. Her practice focuses on employment litigation, providing advice and counsel for labor and employment matters, and internal investigations and compliance. Representative clients operate in industries including technology, manufacturing, and energy.
Maricarmen served as a summer associate at the firm where she conducted research for a motion for summary judgment in an employment matter, composed a memorandum on federal agency compliance with environmental regulations, and aided in the preparation of a 9th Circuit oral argument in an employment matter. She also advised a client on the potential impact of a new municipal tax and analyzed the application of the federal Defend Trade Secrets Act.
