Meaghan Nowell is an associate in the Fort Worth office where she is a member of the oil, gas, & resources practice group. Meaghan has worked on royalty disputes, class actions, and analysis of leases for clients in the oil and gas sector, and has experience in a variety of commercial litigation matters including contract and labor disputes.
Prior to joining the firm, Meaghan served as an associate at an international law firm where she focused her practice on complex commercial litigation including contract disputes, employment disputes, appeals, and investigations. She also provided guidance regarding potential litigation risks arising from transactions in the oil and gas sector.
Meaghan has devoted significant time to pro bono efforts, including obtaining life-long benefits for a disabled veteran, contributing to cases affecting immigrant rights, and winning two consecutive pro bono award honors. During law school, she played an active role in her school’s Children’s Rights Clinic, Actual Innocence Clinic, and Supreme Court Clinic.
