Megan Clement rejoins K&L Gates with previous experience with supporting 1940 Act-registered clients. After departing K&L Gates in 2918, Megan practiced in-house with an asset manager in Austin, Texas where she was responsible for day-to-day management of UCITS fund ranges, advised compliance, portfolio management, operations and finance teams. Megan was the legal point person for formation of Irish common contractual fund and Dutch Fonds voor Gemene Rekening (FGR) in master-feeder structure, including drafting organizational documents such as prospectuses and key investor information documents (KIIDs), and reviewing and negotiation of service provider contracts. Megan also prepared communications/notices to local regulators and responded to inquiries from same.
