Morgan Mayes is an associate in the firm’s corporate practice group and focuses his practice on securities, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and general corporate law matters. He regularly advises clients on transactional, securities and corporate governance matters, including mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities offerings, reporting requirements under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and compliance with stock exchange rules.
During law school, Morgan served as Articles Editor of the Wake Forest Law Review. He also served as President of Business Law Society. During law school, Morgan spent time in Nicaragua with the Micro-trade Development Clinic where he focused on economic development and poverty issues while working with NGO’s and Nicaraguan businesses. Morgan was a law clerk in the legal department of CVS Health Corporation in 2016. He was also a summer associate at K&L Gates in 2017.
