Nadia J. Brooks

Nadia Brooks is an associate in the firm’s Pittsburgh office. She is a member of the Investigations, Enforcement, and White Collar practice group. Her practice focuses on government investigations, regulatory enforcement actions, internal investigations, white-collar defense, and complex civil litigation matters.  Nadia represents corporations and individuals across a variety of industries who are subject to government investigations, enforcement, and other regulatory actions. Nadia has assisted in the representation of individuals and companies before the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Department of Justice (DOJ), and a variety of state regulatory authorities. Her experience includes defending and guiding clients through each juncture of a government investigation, from subpoena responses and interviews through negotiations with the government and settlement.

Nadia also maintains a robust pro bono practice. She assists in civil rights issues, particularly in the prisoner rights context. She has represented several clients seeking to normalize their immigration status through the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) and United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) during her tenure with K&L Gates. Additionally, Nadia uses her legal knowledge to assist domestic violence victims seeking relief through Protection from Abuse (PFA) orders

Prior to joining as an associate, Nadia served as a summer associate at the firm’s Pittsburgh office in 2019 and 2020, where she worked in a variety of practice areas including Complex Commercial Litigation; Oil and Gas; and Investigations, Enforcement, and White Collar.
