Nicolas Sabet is an associate in the firm’s Washington D.C. office, where he is a member of the corporate/M&A practice group. Nicolas maintains a practice concentrated on all aspects of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, finance transactions, private equity investments, corporate governance, and drafting of commercial contracts. Nicolas is often part of transactional teams where he takes the lead on drafting and revising purchase agreements and ancillary documents, including escrow agreements, disclosure schedules, master services agreements, limited liability company agreements, as well as payments/transfer statements of work and network participation agreements. He also has experience working on complex agreements in the fintech, payments, and banking industry, where he works closely with partners in the firm’s payments, banking regulation, and consumer financial services group.
Nicolas is actively developing an esports practice at the firm, working closely with the firm’s sports law, intellectual property, and immigration attorneys on such matters. With a genuine connection and interest in the esports industry, he advises team owners, influencers, agents, players, investors, and entrepreneurs on employment, streaming/media rights, and sponsorship agreements as well as day-to-day contractual or formation/organizational matters.
Nicolas also plays an active role in the firm’s associate development and recruiting efforts.
