Nicole E. Demas

Nicole Demas focuses her practice on technology and intellectual property transactions. Nicole uses her background in media production to advise a wide range of clients, leveraging her experience with common intellectual property and privacy issues from a business standpoint to provide practical legal guidance. 

Prior to joining the firm Nicole served as a judicial law clerk for Judge Sheree Velita Pitchford of the New Jersey Superior Court. Through this role, she performed legal research, drafted memoranda and opinions, and participated in court conferences. Nicole’s professional experience extends to her commitment to community and pro bono services. While working as a judicial law clerk she also organized twice monthly volunteer opportunities with the local soup kitchen for members of the vicinage. As a former animator, Nicole values the creative community and supports the work of artists and artists organization whenever she can. 

In her final semester of law school, Nicole also was as a full-time judicial extern for Judge Michael Shipp of the US District Court for the District of New Jersey, where she drafted bench memoranda, fact and cite checked opinions, and participated in conferences with the court. Prior to joining the practice of law, Nicole worked with a variety of media production companies as an animator and associate producer. She uses this experience with the entertainment industry to provide client-focused advice and services.
