Oyinkansola Ogunkanmi

Oyin Ogunkanmi is an associate in the firm’s London office. He is a member of the Construction and Infrastructure practice group.

Oyin has experience of contentious construction litigation. He is also well versed in providing practical and pragmatic advice throughout the construction process (including non-contentious matters). He has handled a full spectrum of claims providing advice and representation to clients throughout mediation, adjudication, litigation, arbitration and other dispute resolution procedures.

He also has experience in construction insurance/liability disputes, involving professional indemnity advice and acting for leading construction companies, London market and international companies on a wide range of construction insurance matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Oyin served as a construction disputes associate at a law firm in London. Through this role, Oyin acted for clients involved in High Court litigation, mediation, arbitration, and adjudication. He also has experience with regard to buildings with design related defects, claims against contractors, cladding and fire safety disputes, and professional negligence claims by and against engineers, architects, surveyors, and other construction consultants. Oyin has also advised on a range of general construction issues, including contractual payments, completion delay, design, and workmanship defects issues.

Prior to training as a solicitor, Oyin worked at Transport for London in the commercial procurement function (2014-2016).
