Rebekah Beddard is a lawyer in the real estate practice with a focus in Agribusiness. She has a keen interest in the agribusiness and primary production industry and servicing commercial clients in property purchases and sales as well as other related documents, including leasing, licensing, dealing with water rights, joint venture agreements and management agreements.
Rebekah has worked on matters throughout Australia relating to large scale property transactions and investments in agribusiness, including cattle contracts, dairy farming, crop contracts, amongst others. She has also assisted with applications for Foreign Investment Review Board approval on behalf of foreign investors including foreign government investors.
She has acted for both local and international businesses and investors in relation to both property transactions and general day-to-day legal needs. She has conducted due diligence enquiries for potential large scale acquisitions, including investigation of state leases, restrictions on the use of land, water rights, conservation requirements and native title rights,
