Ryan is an associate in the firm’s Charlotte office with the Complex Commercial Litigation group. His practice focuses on litigation and resolution of complex commercial disputes, including experience handling complex civil litigation in federal and state courts. His practice also encompasses counseling clients in responding to government investigations, including investigations involving U.S. Attorneys’ Offices and other federal agencies.
From 2013 to 2015, Ryan served as a law clerk for the Honorable Henry M. Herlong, Jr. of the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina From 2015 to 2016, Ryan served as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert L. Wilkins of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
Prior to joining the firm, Ryan was an associate at law firms in Washington, D.C. and Charlotte, North Carolina, where he concentrated his practice on appellate litigation, commercial litigation, False Claims Act litigation, and government investigations. Prior to attending law school, Ryan was a professor of English.
