Samantha B. Taylor

Sam Taylor is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Disputes practice group. She has experience drafting pleadings and motions in state and federal court for a wide variety of commercial disputes. Her background includes significant experience with fact and expert discovery, alternative dispute resolution, depositions, and motions practice, including arguing motions in state and tribal court and conferring with opposing counsel and engaging experts.

Prior to joining the firm, Sam was an associate at a midsized law firm based in Portland. During law school, Sam served as a teaching assistant, Senior Articles Editor of the North Carolina Journal of Law & Technology, and extern to the Hon. Stephani W. Humrickhouse at the United States Bankruptcy Court.

Sam also served as a summer associate in the firm’s Charleston office. Prior to law school, she taught high school English as a Teach for America corps member.
