Samuel served as a law clerk and a summer associate at the firm prior to becoming an associate. Through this role, he drafted office action responses for a variety of examiner rejections and conducted legal research on a range of topics. Samuel also drafted provisional patent applications from client invention disclosures and patentability reviews.
Additionally, he gained legal experience as a student associate at a law entrepreneurship clinic, where he worked with outside counsel to draft provisional and non-provisional utility patent applications, conducted patentability searches and analyses on client inventions, and drafted operating agreements, restricted unit agreements, and articles of organization for LLCs.
