Steph Lloyd

Stephanie (Steph) Lloyd is a lawyer in the Commercial Litigation and Disputes Resolution team at our Brisbane office. Her areas of focus include complex commercial litigation, planning and environment litigation, insolvency litigation, general debt recovery and shareholder/partnership disputes.

Steph has particular experience in the preparation of various Court documents including pleadings, originating and interlocutory applications, submissions, affidavits and draft orders. She has also been involved in providing complex advice to clients, briefing and instructing expert witnesses, and briefing counsel generally in proceedings, including instructing counsel at hearings, applications and reviews, and liaising with counsel to prepare evidence.

Prior to joining K&L Gates, Steph worked as a lawyer at a national commercial law firm within their commercial litigation practice area, and at a Brisbane boutique litigation practice, focusing on commercial disputes. Prior to finishing her degree, she served as a barristers assistant where Steph assisted with preparing a number of court documents, including pleadings, draft orders, affidavits, and submissions.
