Wendy Li is a lawyer in the Asset Management and Investment Funds practice focusing on financial services regulation, Fintech and investment funds.
Wendy advises domestic and international clients on a range of regulatory compliance and transactional issues relevant to financial advisers, superannuation fund trustees, Fintechs, wholesale and retail fund managers and other financial services entities.
Wendy joined K&L Gates as a seasonal clerk in 2019, before becoming a paralegal and completing the graduate program in 2020. As a graduate, Wendy rotated through the Litigation & Dispute Resolution (medical negligence), Asset Management and Investment Funds, and Corporate practices.
Prior to joining K&L Gates, Wendy completed an internship, clerkship and was in paralegal roles at other international firms in Melbourne and Beijing, and a regional firm in Singapore. At these firms she gained exposure to cross border transactions, project finance, domestic or international dispute resolution and general corporate advisory work.
