Ms. Tan is an associate at the firm’s Singapore office. She is a member of the commercial technology and sourcing and intellectual property and portfolio management groups.
Ms. Tan is a technology lawyer who assists clients with procurement of new technology including ERP, bespoke software development, smaller software solutions such as SaaS, and other commercial IT matters including software licensing, website and app terms, services agreement. Her perspective is international as she regularly supports transactions in the Asia Pacific region and beyond.
Her background in commercial litigation and support from the deep experience of other technology specialists in the firm’s commercial technology and sourcing group enables Ms. Tan to provide a seamless combination of dispute resolution advice and technical assessments in troubled implementation projects, bringing an economical and commercial approach to troubled projects.
Ms. Tan also advises foreign corporations on privacy issues from a local and international perspective with a view to achieving streamlined data protection practices in multiple jurisdictions.
She also regularly advises on cross-border intellectual property matters, focusing on IP commercialisation including patent and trade mark licensing, global trade mark portfolio management, as well as copyright issues in media productions and exhibitions.
