Abram I. Moore is a partner in the Chicago, Illinois and Doha, Qatar offices whose practice is focused on the resolution of international and domestic commercial disputes. Abram represents clients in state and federal courts in the United States and assists clients with litigation pending before courts in the Middle East. He has experience representing clients in international arbitration proceedings as well as in domestic arbitrations and mediations.
Abram has helped clients favorably resolve all manner of disputes, including breach of sales and distribution agreements and other commercial contracts, disputes arising from the purchase and sale of businesses, non-competition and unfair trade practice disputes, allegations of commercial fraud, intra-corporate conflicts, construction disputes, and entertainment and media disputes. He understands that his clients’ business objectives must always be at the forefront of any dispute resolution strategy, and focuses on achieving superior results in an efficient manner.
In addition to commercial disputes, Abram has significant experience representing individual clients relating to disputes over cryopreserved pre-embryos. He was counsel in a groundbreaking case in Illinois on the subject, and convinced the Illinois Appellate Court to adopt his client’s preferred legal standard. He has since counseled clients across the US regarding their rights in such disputes and been interviewed by publications from around the world on the subject.
