Our Commitment to Diversity
Teresa A. Hill

Teresa Hill is a partner in the firm's Seattle office. She focuses her practice in the areas of energy and infrastructure projects and transactions with an emphasis on renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, biomass, and storage. Teresa’s clients rely on her for her extensive experience advising on legal issues involving climate, sustainability, impact investment, and renewable energy, and specifically the negotiation of development-related agreements, including virtually and physically settled renewable power purchase agreements.

Teresa is a practice group coordinator for K&L Gates’ Energy, Infrastructure and Resources Power practice. Teresa also leads a global initiative within K&L Gates titled the Corporate Energy Sourcing initiative, which is focused on serving the legal needs of clients in support of their sustainability, carbon and renewable energy goals. Teresa has a well-established reputation for thought leadership in – and unmatched experience on – buy-side renewable transactions for corporate purchasers. Teresa’s clients include some of the largest corporate buyers of renewable energy, and we have helped these clients secure global renewable portfolios in the U.S., Latin America, Europe, Australia and Asia.

Prior to joining K&L Gates, Teresa was a partner in the environment, land use and natural resources and renewable energy groups of a Portland-based law firm and clerked for Chief Justice Linda Copple Trout, the first woman appointed to the Idaho Supreme Court.
