Jeffrey Richter is an associate in the firm’s Pittsburgh office. He focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation and arbitration.

Mr. Richter represents and advises clients in a broad array of contexts across a number of different industries. He has litigated matters in various state and federal courts across the country, as well as arbitrations seated in domestic and international venues. His experience includes matters involving breach of contract, business tort, class action defense, mass tort, insurance coverage, and product liability.

Mr. Richter is also actively involved in various pro bono matters, including prisoner civil rights litigation and asylum claims in immigration court.

Professional Background

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Richter clerked for the Honorable Rebecca Goodgame Ebinger of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa from 2016-2017.

In addition, he was a summer associate in the firm’s Pittsburgh office in 2015, and a summer associate in the Tokyo office of an international law firm.

During law school, Mr. Richter was appointed Academic Director of the Moot Court Board and Contributing Editor of the Iowa Law Review. He was also a member of the National Moot Court Team, representing the law school at the competition’s final round in New York.
