Amber Meyer

Amber is a lawyer in firm's Intellectual Property group and is involved in litigation, trade mark procurement, and portfolio management. She assists clients with advice on trade mark registration, trade mark, copyright and patent infringement, general brand protection, misleading and deceptive conduct and passing off, and licensing.

Amber works with both Australian and international clients, and her experience spans a variety of areas, including fashion, sports, entertainment, health and wellbeing, life sciences, financial services, generative AI, and construction.

Amber joined K&L Gates' graduate program in 2024, rotating through the intellectual property, finance, and corporate groups. During the graduate program, she gained exposure to intellectual property procurement and portfolio management, restructuring and insolvency, and capital markets. 

Prior to joining the firm, Amber worked as a paralegal for an in-house corporate legal team at an ASX50 company, and completed seasonal clerkships at leading Australian law firms.
