Andrew D. Connelly

Andrew Connelly is an associate in the firm's Commercial Disputes practice group. Andrew’s practice involves a broad range of commercial litigation and international arbitration across a number of different sectors including: insurance, sport, technology, media, financial services, and construction. Andrew has a particular interest in insurance disputes and has experience representing policyholders seeking coverage under a broad range of insurance policies. Many of Andrew’s matters have an international aspect and he has experience working with parties across the UK, Europe, and the United States.

Andrew has a keen interest in legal technology and is a member of the firm’s Commercial Disputes AI Working Group.

Prior to joining the firm, Andrew worked as a solicitor for a commercial law firm based in London. Andrew has acted at every level of the English civil courts including on a multi-million pound TCC dispute relating to the defective construction of two UK hospitals, and on behalf of a claimant in a financial services dispute in the Court of Appeal. Andrew also has experience acting on arbitrations, most notably on behalf of a number of small businesses in a group arbitration against an insurer relating to the refusal to pay out for COVID-19 related business interruption losses.
