Clifton Thorne is a patent agent and is a member of the IP Procurement and Portfolio Management group. He specializes in collaborating with inventors to draft patent applications, including technical specifications, patent claims, and formal figures in the fields of software engineering, telecommunications, machine learning, aerospace, financial services, autonomous vehicles, electrical engineering, and more. Additionally, he assists in the prosecution of pending patent applications by collaborating with both internal and client counsel to develop strategies for responding to USPTO actions. Clifton also has experience in live event production for televised sporting events and concerts, and was previously an educator at an international school located in Bangkok, Thailand.
