Emma Lidström

Emma Lidström is an associate in the firm’s London office and a member of the Commercial Disputes practice group.

Emma has a varied litigation and international arbitration practice, acting for clients across a range of sectors. Emma has primarily worked on disputes in the construction, energy and transport sectors, as well as international (re)insurance coverage disputes. She has experience in commercial disputes arising out of the "built" environment including infrastructure, engineering, and property disputes. She has been involved in complex multiparty High Court litigation, dispute resolution (including mediation) including professional negligence, and contract disputes in the UK and overseas.

Emma is interested in renewable energy, the emerging world of ESG, as well as the legal challenges arising from climate change

Prior to joining the firm, Emma served as an associate in the London office of an international law firm where she focused her practice advising and acting for clients on a wide range of domestic and international matters. She primarily focused on commercial disputes in the construction, energy, infrastructure, engineering, transport, and property industries. She gained experience in complex multiparty High Court litigation, dispute resolution (including mediation) including professional negligence and contract disputes, (re)insurance policy coverage disputes/analysis in the UK and overseas, in particular Latin America. 

Emma was also a member of her previous firm's ESG/Renewable Energy Risks team.

Emma completed her training contract with a U.S. law firm in London. She is bilingual (Swedish and English) with an international background. Born in Sweden, and lived in Malaysia, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.
