ICC arbitration on behalf of a multinational advisory and design consultancy in respect of design services to be carried out across several metro stations in the Middle East.
ICC arbitration regarding the operation of pre-emption rights under a JOA.
LCIA arbitration in relation to vessel refurbishment and upgrade of a FPSO.
London Maritime Arbitrators’ Association arbitration on behalf of the employer in relation to the construction of a mega yacht in Germany under a bespoke contract.
HKIAC arbitration in relation to disputes arising from the construction of a hospital in Hong Kong. Seat of arbitration Hong Kong and subject to Hong Kong law.

Litigation

Acting for a subcontractor in two High Court proceedings arising in relation to installation of cladding on balconies at a residential tower in UK.
Acting for a JV in proceedings brought in the TCC arising from a pipeline project in the UK.
Acting for an energy company in proceedings in the High Court in London in relation to a fatality at a UK refinery.
Acting for an oil and gas technology fund in relation to a US$18 million claim in the English High Court. The dispute related to the termination of an Investment Management Agreement.
Acting for a bank in proceedings before the Privy Council concerning trespass over land.
Acting for the trustee of a global financial services firm on UK and international aspects of the liquidation.

Alternative Dispute Resolution

Acting for the owner in an expert determination against a joint venture company relating to the development of a seawater desalination plant in Saudi Arabia.
Advising a subcontractor on various claims relating to cladding works (adjudications, mediation, and TCC litigation).
Advising a real estate developer on various claims relating to cladding issues.
Advising the owner in relation to an infrastructure PFI contract.
Advising a co-developer in relation to payment and termination rights under a development agreement relating to a solar project in Kenya.
Acting for a Europe-based airport operator in an expert determination against a retail contractor in respect of a dispute arising from the payment of the retail fee.
Advising the employer on a dispute arising on a major rail project in the UK under a NEC Option 3 contract in relation to the contractor’s entitlement to compensation.
