Advised ITOCHU Corporation on the cross-border dispute matters concerning “OUTDOOR PRODUCTS” brand, including post acquisition indemnification claims and settlement of disputes with a local licensee in connection with termination of an exclusive licensing arrangement with the local licensee.
Advised ITOCHU Corporation and its affiliates on the restructure of cross-border trademark license, distribution, sourcing and services arrangements in connection with the design, manufacture, marketing, sale and distribution of “LESPORTSAC” branded products in various territories around the world and related dispute matters with local licensees and/or distributors.
Advised ITOCHU Corporation on its restructure and termination of the master franchise arrangement with respect to a famous bakery and restaurant franchise brand “LE PAN QUOTIDIEN” and related dispute matters.
Advised U.S. subsidiaries of a major Japanese manufacturer of auto parts in connection with the corporate reorganization involving a series of spin offs and merger by and among various affiliates.

Advised ITOCHU Corporation and its affiliates on its acquisition of worldwide business of a famous fashion and accessory brand “LESPORTSAC”.
Advised ITOCHU Corporation on its acquisition of Asian business of “OUTDOOR PRODUCTS” brand, a famous outdoor clothing and accessories brand, and various related matters including cross-border dispute, license and distribution.
Advised ITOCHU Corporation and its affiliate on the establishment of the ground-breaking, cross-border e-commerce platform and related strategic alliance with CITIC Holdings, Co. Ltd., one of China’s largest state-owned enterprises, and its affiliate in connection with the cross-border marketing and sale of various Japanese products to People’s Republic of China (PRC) including processed food, cosmetics, fashion and accessory brand products and related services.
Advised ITOCHU Corporation on its acquisition of Asian business of “WILD THINGS” brand, an outdoor clothing and accessories brand and establishment of a cross-license arrangement with a U.S. seller.
Advised ITOCHU Corporation on its acquisition of the worldwide business of “GRAMICCI” brand, an innovative outdoor lifestyle clothing and accessories brand, including acquisition of all trademarks, copyrights, and domain names as well as related license arrangements.
Advised SK Planet Japan, a subsidiary of SK Telecom Co. Ltd., a major Korean conglomerate, in connection with various corporate and transaction matters
Advised a large Japanese manufacturer and supplier of auto parts in connection with a cross-border manufacturing and supply arrangement with a German counterpart
