REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

Offshore Wind Energy

Advised an energy consortium composed of one of the top wind energy producers globally and a leading engineering and technology company on a project to develop an initial 500 megawatt floating wind farm off the coast of South Korea. 
Acted as project counsel for a Dutch offshore construction contractor in relation to an EPCI contract for the design, procurement, construction, installation, and testing of the WTG foundations and inter-array cables for one of the largest wind farms offshore Scotland.
Represented a U.A.E.-based contractor on contractual negotiations and project execution in connection with the implementation of the 900 MW converter system BorWin3 in the German North Sea.
Advised a renewable energy group that has been engaging in the Taiwan offshore wind power business since 2013 on the sale of a majority of shares of the company that operates a landmark 378 MW offshore wind farm project in Taiwan and has joint developments with a diversified financial group.
Acted as the project counsel to a professional manufacturer of specialty chemicals, providing legal advice related to the sale of equity interests in a Taiwan company which holds a 128MW Taiwanese offshore wind project to a diversified financial group and a renewable energy company. With the combination, the project is positioned to leverage the parties' respective expertise to collaborate on design; investment; engineering, procurement, and construction; operations and maintenance; and financing. The combination of the three companies will help to bring a strong partnership to the Taiwan offshore wind energy market.
Represented a Dutch construction company on contractual negotiations and provided construction project management support and dispute resolution advice in connection with several German offshore wind projects in the Baltic Sea and the North Sea (including the “Baltic 1,” the 288 MW “Butendiek,” and “Hohe See” offshore wind farms).
Advised an institutional agricultural investor on its participation in a consortium bidding to acquire the assets of the Green Investment Bank (including the largest portfolio of offshore wind projects in the United Kingdom).
Advised a leading cable and cable accessories supplier to the energy sector on an FIDIC-based Export Cable Package tender for the 800MW Vineyard Wind project in Massachusetts, the first large U.S. offshore wind project.
Assisted a renewable energy company on the drafting of design, procurement, and construction agreements best-suited for the North American market.
Represented a green energy supplier in the process of applications for first permits for offshore wind farms under the new Maritime Areas Act in Poland; advised during a competitive procedure where more than one applicant was interested in the same maritime area.
Represented one of Poland's largest private energy groups with respect to offshore regulatory issues concerning its offshore permit holding SPV.
Advised a leading contractor on issues concerning the provision and installation of meteorological masts for the East Anglia Offshore Windfarm (United Kingdom).
