Assisted a leading French utilities provider in the implementation of its smart-city data hub for a connected city project in France. This project provides tenants with a central hub to manage their connected services (utilities consumption, access control, video surveillance, parking) and included several stakeholders for the provision of the smart-city services. Provided legal advice for the regulatory and transactional aspects of the sharing of the underlying personal data, as well as the contractual safeguards to ensure the continuity and reversibility of the services.
Represented an international cloud computing services company in sale-leasebacks of operating data centers.
Represented a privately owned multitenant data center owner/developer/operator in a joint venture for the US$120 million purchase of a 32-story building in New York City for redevelopment into a data center to serve Manhattan. 
Represented a multinational computer technology company on the air permit for backup generators in Washington.
Represented an international data center and colocation provider on the negotiation of a lease for a data center of 10,000 square meters in Saint-Denis, France.
Represented a leading multinational information technology company in the acquisition and leaseback of a data center in San Antonio, Texas, including work on tax incentives.
Represented a telecommunications company on the acquisition and lease of data centers in France, Germany, Sweden, and Denmark.
Represented a property investment fund in connection with the acquisition of a site at Greenwich View Place in the London Docklands for redevelopment as a data center.
Represented an international data center and colocation provider on the development of one of the largest data centers (12,000 square meters, to be extended) near Paris, France.
Represented a multinational technology and cloud services company in the acquisition and development of data centers throughout the United States.
Represented one of the largest online retailers with the design, construction, and operation of data centers outside of the United States.
