Hanjen Yu

Hanjen (Henry) Yu is a patent agent and a member of the IP Procurement and Portfolio Management practice group. Hanjen has more than 12 years of experience, focusing on patent preparation and prosecution in the technology fields of semiconductors; information and image processing; digital communication systems; chip packaging; LED and optics instruments; medical devices; and more. Prior to joining the firm, Hanjen was a patent agent at an intellectual property law firm. Through this role, he conducted inventor interviews, performed patent searches, analyzed invention disclosures, and evaluated patentability and validity. He also drafted claims and specifications in original patent applications, prosecuted patent applications before USPTO and foreign jurisdictions, and conducted interviews with USPTO examiners to facilitate patent prosecutions.
