James is a lawyer in the litigation and dispute resolution practice. He is a commercial litigator, possessing extensive experience in large-scale commercial litigation, financial lines and professional indemnity insurance litigation, at both State and Federal Court levels. James has an extensive history of acting on behalf of a wide array of professionals, such as accountants, architects, lawyers, building professionals and tech/software companies, in defence of commercial and professional negligence claims.
James' experience includes advising and acting in relation to commercial disputes arising from Financial Lines insurance policies, in particular Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers, Management Liability, Public Offering of Securities and Employment Practice Liability policies. He also has a history of being engaged by private clients in general commercial work, such as for defamation actions, regulatory actions and debt recoveries.
