James completed his training contract at K&L Gates, gaining experience in the following practice groups: Real Estate, Investment Management, Investigations, Enforcement and White Collar, and Energy, Infrastructure and Resources.
Prior to joining the firm, James served as a legal product expert for an artificial intelligence platform that services the legal profession, where he also focused on sales and client relations. Additionally, James has experience as a former paralegal for a shipping law firm in London, as well as a multi-disciplinary law practice specializing in property and private client advice. James also worked at the in-house legal department for a global employee benefits network.
