James Read is special counsel in the firm’s Finance practice and specialises in representing corporate trustees and agents on a variety of capital markets and banking transactions. Prior to joining the firm, he served as an associate in a London law firm where he focused his practice in the capital markets department. James specialised in corporate trustee, facility agent, and collateral agent representation. He has experience on a variety of complex, cross-jurisdictional deals with a focus on high yield issuances and leveraged finance loan transactions. In addition, James has represented corporate trustees and agents on consent solicitations and other liability management exercises, as well as default scenarios, administrations, and restructurings.
