Prior to joining the firm, John served as a patent technical specialist and patent agent in the Charlotte offices of two separate international law firms, where he advised clients on patentability, drafted patent application written specifications, conducted examiner interviews, and analyzed and responded to United States Patent and Trademark Office actions across mechanical, electrical, and computer science sectors. John also has industry experience working for both a healthcare automation systems developer and a leading global supplier to the automotive and industrial sectors.
