K&L Gates Advises Wabtec Corporation
Melbourne – Global law firm K&L Gates has advised leading global provider of products and services for rail and industrial markets, NYSE-listed Westinghouse Air & Brake Technology Group (Wabtec) on its acquisition of Lynxrail, the railroad technology division of Lynx Engineering Consultants Pty Ltd.
Established in 1993 in Perth, Lynx Engineering developed a range of innovative technologies for the rail industry, including wayside and on-board condition based monitoring systems.
The K&L Gates team advised Wabtec on all legal aspects relating to the acquisition. The team was led by Melbourne M&A partner John Mann, and included Perth corporate partner Adam Levine, senior associate Danielle Larkin and graduate Xanthe Shaw.
