K&L Gates Advises on Longboat Energy Initial Public Offering
London - Global law firm K&L Gates LLP has advised Longboat Energy Plc (AIM: LBE) on its initial public offering on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange. Longboat Energy is a full-cycle North Sea oil and gas company that was established by the former management team of Faroe Petroleum Plc. The company’s first day of trading took place Thursday, November 28, 2019.
“Paul Tetlow and his team took the company from its foundation all the way through to the IPO, providing essential commercial guidance along with advice on the multitude of associated legal issues,” said Longboat Energy chief financial officer Jon Cooper. “K&L Gates' ability to take charge of matters and find solutions before they become issues and uncanny instinct to know our company’s position on any given matter are great examples of how the firm offers a service far and beyond legal matters.”
The K&L Gates team that advised on the matter was led by London partner Paul Tetlow and included London partner James Green and associates Robert Boughey and Heather McLoughlin.
