K&L Gates Charity Football Match: Watling Wanderers vs. New Change United–The Wren Cup

In support of Switchboard, for International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia 2025, our firm will be hosting the much-anticipated Wren Cup. The mighty Watling Wanderers will take on the up-and-coming New Change United in what is set to be an exhilarating match.

Whether you hit the pitch as a player (teams will be mixed gender), or cheer from the sidelines, we are thrilled to bring you this year’s theme: “The Power of Communities.” Together with our partners, we’ll be raising funds for Switchboard, because every voice deserves to be heard.

After the match, there will be a trophy presentation, raffle, auction, and dancing. Food and drinks will be provided throughout the evening. 

Register as a player, supporter, and for a seat on the K&L Gates bus (the bus will be collecting passengers from One New Change to Dulwich Hamlet).

  • Switchboard is the national LGBTQIA+ support line. Their confidential, nonjudgmental listening service is free, and available to LGBTQIA+ people, their friends, families, and allies, wherever they feel most comfortable–whether that’s on the phone, via chat, or email.
  • Dulwich Hamlet, founded in 1893, are based at Champion Hill Stadium, East Dulwich. Their men’s team play in the Isthmian League Premier Division and their women’s team plays in the Women’s National League. Proud to foster an inclusive atmosphere, the club won the Semi-Professional Award at the 2025 Football vs. Homophobia Awards.
