K&L Gates Continues Rise Among Elite Law Firm Brands in Client Survey
The report, which ranks law firms through direct and unprompted feedback from general counsel and legal decision makers at the world’s largest companies, identified K&L Gates among 28 firms — the “Brand Elite” — with a “substantially better brand than others” and a solid reputation for handling high-stakes matters. Noting that “Brand Elite law firms’ brand strength is 13 times stronger than other law firms,” BTI describes K&L Gates and the other firms on the Brand Elite as those who “are standing out from the crowd and creating the standard by which every other law firm is measured.” Based on nearly 650 in-depth, one-on-one interviews with legal decision makers, the report compares law firms that corporate counsel consider the best in nine distinct areas that influence the selection, consideration, and hiring of firms, including client service, value, industry leadership, innovation, and tech-savviness.
The recognition follows last month’s ranking of K&L Gates — for a second consecutive year — among the 10 strongest U.S. law firm brands in legal market research company Acritas’ U.S. Law Firm Brand Index 2016. K&L Gates also recently was recognized by general counsel as a top-10 law firm for client service excellence in the 2016 BTI Client Service 30, with K&L Gates being one of only six firms to rank in the top 10 for client service in each of the survey’s past two years.
K&L Gates comprises approximately 2,000 lawyers globally who practice in fully integrated offices located on five continents. The firm represents leading multinational corporations, growth and middle-market companies, capital markets participants and entrepreneurs in every major industry group as well as public sector entities, educational institutions, philanthropic organizations and individuals.
