K&L Gates Named "Property & Construction Team of the Year" for Third Consecutive Year at Qatar Business Law Forum & Awards

Doha - Global law firm K&L Gates LLP was named “Property and Construction Firm of the Year” for a third consecutive time during the virtual 2020 Qatar Business Law Forum & Awards. The firm also was honored with “highly commended” distinctions in four additional categories: International Law Firm of the Year, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Team of the Year, Commercial Litigation Team of the Year, and Corporate & Commercial Team of the Year.

The annual forum and awards ceremony recognizes exceptional achievement within Qatar’s legal community and are judged by a panel of nearly 30 industry leaders, academic practitioners, and government officials. During the event, Doha partner Matthew Walker also provided a presentation on drafting multi-tier dispute resolution clauses, while Doha counsel Pawel Piotrowski spoke on Qatar’s new public-private partnerships law.
