K&L Gates Recognized Among Australia’s Most Innovative Firms
15 December 2016
Melbourne - K&L Gates has been named by Australasian Lawyer as one of the most innovative law firms of 2016 for the firm’s groundbreaking HUB On-Demand CLE Center.
Australasian Lawyer’s inaugural Innovative Firms report showcases firms that are committed to moving the industry forward, whether through the use of pioneering technology, implementing new ways of working with clients, or a forward-thinking approach to client relationships.
K&L Gates HUB is a first-of-its-kind digital destination designed exclusively for busy in-house counsel. HUB contains timely and relevant industry-based content in 34 sectors on topics critical to corporate legal departments and C-suite executives. Launched in February 2016, the HUB On-Demand CLE Center contains more than 100 accredited course offerings and is designed to deliver direct access to CPD points for lawyers who can take the courses from their desktops or mobile devices. The On-Demand Center allows lawyers to keep up with their accreditation requirements around their schedule, and the mobility of the course access allows them to take courses in the office, at home, or on holiday.
Nick Nichola, K&L Gates’ Managing Partner, Australia, stated: “Through the HUB On-Demand CLE Center, K&L Gates is providing an innovative, easy-to-use platform for lawyers to gain CPD accreditation anytime and from anywhere. In identifying a gap in the market and leveraging our fully integrated global platform, our HUB On-Demand CLE Center adds value of a type that few, if any, other firms can offer, in Australia or elsewhere.”
