Krishna G. Hegde

Krishna Hegde is an associate in the firm's Commercial Disputes practice group. He maintains a broad-based practice with an emphasis on insurance recovery and corporate transactional matters, including cross-border disputes. He is experienced in all stages of litigation, from drafting initial pleadings to preparing for and helping conduct trial.

Recent work includes:

  • Taking trial testimony of a 30(b)(6) witness in federal court on corporate separation and tax exemption matters.
  • Drafting oppositions to a joint summary judgment motion and motion for judgment on the pleadings—both of which were successfully opposed, in a Delaware Court of Chancery securities litigation matter.
  • Managing document discovery, production and analysis on a wide-ranging commercial dispute involving contractual breach and antitrust issues.

Krishna has also assisted clients in arbitrations and other alternative dispute resolution contexts, helping them avoid litigation while securing favorable outcomes.

A graduate of Harvard Law School and Columbia University, Krishna clerked between 2021-2022 at the US Court of Federal Claims in Washington, DC, before returning to Pittsburgh.

  • David Glick Memorial Scholarship (2019)

In his spare time, Krishna enjoys playing classical piano, swimming, reading fiction (especially French novels) and spending time with his family.
