Melissa Kato is a partner in the firm’s Finance practice. She represents institutional lenders, investors and financial institutions in a variety of secured and unsecured financial transactions, including CMBS securitizations, loan servicing-related matters, the purchase and sale of servicing rights, loan restructurings and syndicated lending transactions. She has significant experience representing servicers in CMBS transactions, including the negotiation of pooling and servicing agreements prior to securitization and in all areas of asset management thereafter.
