Located in the heart of the city close to the famous Duomo di Milano, our Milan office was opened in 2012 as one of seven offices in continental Europe.

Recognized as a world fashion and design capital, Milan is also the Italian economic and financial center. It is the seat of the Italian stock exchange and a major center for financial services and business, including textiles, industrial tools, machinery, and publishing.

Handling fund work for many of the best-known alternative investment fund (AIF) managers, sponsors, and investors, K&L Gates' Milan asset management and investment funds team is headed by the 'very dedicated' Giovanni Meschia. Representative work includes structuring and setting up investment funds across a range of areas, such as private equity, venture capital, private debt and loan origination, unlikely to pay and non-performing loans, as well as real estate and social housing.

Francesco Sanna frequently represents multinational investment and real estate companies on a broad range of real estate mandates including asset sales and purchases.
