Established in 1883, our Seattle office is the city’s oldest law office and also one of its largest. Our Cybersecurity and Privacy group works with clients to protect their online brands, Internet commerce sites, and computer systems from Internet-based threats and cyber villains. Our Pharma and BioPharma Litigation team represents clients on federal Hatch-Waxman litigation and Patent Office proceedings and also provides strategy for successfully launching pharmaceutical products.
Our Labor, Employment, and Workplace Safety lawyers advise employers on general employment issues, help draft policies and handbooks, and handle complex union, leave law, and wage and hour issues. We also assist clients in responding to agency investigations and represent them in discrimination, wage and hour and other lawsuits filed in state and federal court. Our team has extensive experience in conducting legal compliance and due diligence audits for clients and in evaluating potential acquisition targets.
Our Energy, Infrastructure, and Resources practice advises clients as they finance, site, and develop renewable resource and thermal generating projects, as well as electric transmission and interstate natural gas pipelines projects. The group works on a range of climate change issues, from compliance with greenhouse gas regulations to the creation and trading of renewable energy credits. Our Environmental Regulatory lawyers participate in the negotiation, drafting, and enactment of statutes, regulations, and executive orders and have testified before legislative and regulatory panels on leading-edge issues for our clients.
Clients call upon our Real Estate lawyers to address development, construction, leasing, acquisition, financing, eminent domain, and real estate litigation needs. Our team has worked on some of the most complex public-private joint ventures and infrastructure projects in the Pacific Northwest.
