Tae H. Kim

Tae Kim is an associate and a member of the Commercial Disputes practice group. Prior to joining the firm, Tae was an associate at an international litigation firm, where he represented a wide range of clients in federal and state courts. His practice spanned complex commercial matters involving antitrust law, the Unfair Competition Law, the Insurance Frauds Prevention Act, and environmental litigation. He has broad experience in every phase of litigation, including pre-suit investigation, motions practice, trial, and appellate briefing. He brings a thoughtful and client-focused approach to every matter, drawing on his diverse background to craft tailored, effective legal strategies. 

During his time at law school, Tae externed in the District Court for the Central District of California with the Honorable Stephen V. Wilson. Additionally, he helped review and assess various types of contracts at a healthcare startup. He also clerked at Legal Aid at Work and East Bay Community Law Center’s Clean Slate Clinic, where he represented low-income working families and individuals affected by the criminal justice system in various legal controversies. 

Following law school, Tae served as a federal law clerk to the Honorable Hal R. Ray, Jr. in the Northern District of Texas.
