Anna Smith

Anna is a special counsel in the restructuring and insolvency practice. Anna has over 17 years post-admission experience in both private practice and in-house across a range of disciplines including insolvency and restructuring, securities enforcement, banking and finance, dispute resolution, contentious regulatory investigations and risk management.  

In recent years, Anna worked in the not-for-profit sector, specialising in assisting victims of financial elder abuse. Prior to that, Anna was a Senior Lawyer in the Dispute Resolution Group at Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd. Before going in-house, Anna practised for nearly 13 years in the insolvency and restructuring teams at K&L Gates (and it's predecessor firm, Middletons) and MinterEllison.
