Connie Yan is a foreign lawyer and a member of the International Arbitration practice group. Prior to joining the firm, Connie was a senior associate at an international law firm on the international arbitration team. Connie primarily worked on investor-state arbitrations administered by ICSID or the ICC, with experience in mining and energy cases involving Central and West African states. Through this role, Connie drafted written submissions on a wide range of factual and legal issues, drafted witness statements, conducted legal research, drafted transactional documents, and much more.
