Emre joined the firm as a seasonal clerk and subsequently commenced as a graduate working in the corporate and finance practice groups, where he gained exposure to technology, privacy, cybersecurity, emerging AI, finance, restructuring and insolvency. He has experience in assisting advisory and transactional matters, including regulatory compliance, privacy and cyber risk matters.
Prior to joining K&L Gates, Emre worked in legal technology, innovation and programming roles where he built technology solutions, allowing him to understand major programming languages and frameworks.
