Jeffrey Reed is a partner in the firm's Tax practice group. He focuses his practice on state and local tax controversies, state tax planning, IRS tax controversy matters, and unclaimed property issues. Jeffrey has extensive experience representing clients before state revenue agencies throughout the United States, with particular depth in New York and Massachusetts tax matters. He has successfully resolved disputes involving income, franchise, sales and use, residency, and apportionment issues, and advises clients regarding state tax nexus, voluntary disclosure programs, and unclaimed property compliance. He also has broad experience handling IRS audits and administrative appeals.
