Prior to joining the firm, Lucas was an associate at two New York-based law firms, where he focused his practice on broad-based bankruptcy and restructuring matters, representing debtors, lenders, creditors, asset purchasers, and other parties in interest in in- and out-of-court restructurings. He acted as lead associate in all aspects of corporate restructurings, including out-of-court liability management transactions, corporate governance, board and lender presentations, and chapter 11 and 15 processes.
