Lucas Johncey

Lucas Johncey is an associate and a member of the Construction and Infrastructure practice group. Lucas focuses on construction and infrastructure disputes in the UK and globally, and has experience acting in a range of dispute forums including court proceedings, adjudications and alternative dispute resolution procedures. Lucas has been involved in arbitrations under the institutional rules of the ICC and DIAC, and has experience with bespoke EPC contracts and standard form contracts (including FIDIC, NEC and JCT). 

Lucas completed his training contract at an international law firm, gaining experience in construction and insurance disputes, commercial and banking litigation and tax. Lucas also spent six months seconded to the in-house legal team of one of the UK’s largest airports. 

Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Lucas was a paralegal in the Construction and Infrastructure team assisting on a major international arbitration involving the construction of specialist systems, and international litigation concerning the design of complex infrastructure.
